Two day 'Teacher Training' organised by ICC: The importance of the communicative approach in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers

The Islamic Cultural Centre has organised a two day teacher training, in the library conference hall, from 9.30 am to 4 pm, on: The importance of the communicative approach in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
85 teachers from 15 Supplementary Arabic schools took part of the event and benefited from the following seminars:
Active learning and its impact on the teaching of the Arabic language for non- native speakers.
Practical presentation in dealing with problems and behaviour management.
Ways to develop communication competence in Arabic among students.
A typical lesson in teaching reading and speaking skills.
Dealing with emergencies in achieving children's security and safety in the school.
Certificates of completion were given to the attendees at the end of the training by Dr Ahmad Ahmad Al-Dubayan the Director General of The ICC. The feedback received from the teachers was excellent.
