Free One Day Training for Supplementary Arabic schools, teachers of Arabic, headteachers, administrative supervisors, educators and personal tutors of Arabic

The Islamic Cultural Centre - London in partnership with The International Centre of Pedagogical Training - France

Is organising a free one day training for Supplementary Arabic schools, teachers of Arabic, headteachers, administrative supervisors, educators and personal tutors of Arabic.

Topics of Discussion:

  • The facilitating teacher and overcoming difficulties in learning (presentation of practical lessons)
  • The importance of attainment tests in determining educational goals
  • The role of e-learning platforms in the promotion of the Arabic language (the ANAS platform as a model)

Arabic Manuscripts Day Celebration

New Tawheed Classes for Beginners and Advanced Levels

This course aims to provide students with a clear understanding of Tawheed (Islamic monotheism). The course covers a vast range of matters which are fundamental principles for a Muslim to know including; the meaning of Tawhid, the categories of Tawheed and the types of shirk (polytheism), understanding pillars or Islam and pillars of Iman (Hadeeth Jibril). Islamic Circle

Islamic Circle is a weekly lecture with guest speakers every Saturday since 1979.

The weekly talks have continued to grow in popularity over the years and attracts between 70 - 120 people each week from the London area and the Home Counties. It provides a meeting place for all Muslims and non-Muslims wishing to learn more about Islam.

The Islamic Circle provides help and comfort to those Muslims who have neglected their religion in the past. Through our speakers, who have good knowledge and understanding of Islam in modern times, they have gained a better understanding of their religion in the face of a very difficult period for all the Muslims. After the talk we provide refreshments during which people can get to know one another better allowing us to identify those who need our help and support.

Hikmah Youth Project

The Hikmah project, our Youth Club, has been running for the fourth year since its inception in April 2013. It continues to provide youth with the opportunity to explore their full potential in different aspects as they are considered the heart of the community and the fabrics of future development. The project has benefited a wide range of youth from local and surrounding areas.

The Educational aspect of the programme is managed by a team of volunteers who have offered invaluable materials to help children develop key academic and social skills, necessary for responsible and effective participation in the community. The project continues to attract interest from far and wide, and with sufficient funding the benefit can go a long way in enabling the youth to utilise their free time effectively.
