The ISESCO & The Islamic Cultural Centre held a joint two day international conference for the
10th Meeting of the Directors of the Islamic Cultural Centres and Islamic Associations in Europe
& The 13th Meeting of the Supreme Council of Education, Science & Culture for
Muslims outside the Islamic World
June 26-27 2013
The two day conference had an array of attendees and guests with opening speeches from:
- Director General of the Islamic Cultural Centre Dr. Ahmad Al Dubayan
- Dr Abdelilah Ben Arfa, expert in cultural policies and cultural diversity at ISESCO Directorate of Culture and Communication
- Chairman of the Supreme Council for Education, Science and Culture. Dr. Yahya Pallavicini
- The representative of Ministry of Culture in Saudi Arabia Dr. Nasir Al Hujailan
- The Chairman of KAICIID Dialogue Centre His Excellency Mr Faisal Bin Muammar
The Session Titles included:
- Introducing the Initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud to strengthen the dialogue between Religions & Cultures. Followed by a brief discussion
- Introducing a study about Science& Faith to promote the dialogue between Civilizations& Cultures. Followed by a brief discussion. By; Dr. Abdul-Haqq Ghaydarouni
- Proposals & suggestions of the directors of the Islamic cultural Centres & Islamic associations in Europe to activate the Initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud to strengthen the dialogue between Religions & Cultures
