Visit My Mosque Day

In spirit of the Muslim Council of Britain's annual 'Visit My Mosque Day' The Islamic Cultural Centre held a one day open day where the Mosque was facilitating for guided tours and visits from people of all faith and cultures. The Centre was delighted to hold over 500 guests on that Day which aimed to showing the message that Mosques are a community centre open for all public and those who would like to learn about Islam.

Director General Dr. Ahmad Al Dubayan hoped that the event is a step towards clearing away the clouds of misunderstanding about Islam. The first of which, he says, is the misconception that today is the only day the mosque's doors are open to outsiders.

Over 150 Mosques and Islamic Centres across Britain took part in the event which was a testament that Islam is a religion that promotes peace tolerance and coexistence.
