The London Central Mosque strongly condemn the sick and barbaric attacks that took place last night in London.

We are deeply saddened and send our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and prayers for the injured.

In this time of difficulty, we urge people to stay calm and not play into the hands of terrorists who seek to divide our Great British Society.

As the Prime Minister states we should have zero tolerance of any form of extremism and terrorism in the U.K and need to tackle it head on.

We must not let the terrorists divide us, we must stand in solidarity and defiance and combat this perverted ideology.

The perpetrators of this heinous act go against the fundamental teachings of Islam, which encourages the safe guarding of all human life.

Our strength is in our community unity and we again thank our Police and security services who's swift response has undoubtedly saved many lives.

We also ask all community members to be extra vigilant and report any unusual activity to the Police authorities and to work with the authorities to remove this evil from our socity.
