The London Central Mosque Trust & the Islamic Cultural Centre offers its sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the families and loved ones of the pilgrims who lost their lives in the tragic accident in Mina on Thursday 24th October 2015.

Dr Ahamd Al-Dubayan, Director General of The Islamic Cultural Centre expressed his deep sadness and said, "Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and families".

We should not forget the continuous efforts by the Saudi Government for carrying out everything in its power to make sure all those affected by this tragedy are taken care of and understand a full investigation into the cause of this catastrophe has been ordered by HRH King Salman al-Saud.

Over the last few years the numbers of pilgrims arriving in the holy city of Makkah to perform the Hajj has increased by millions and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has embarked on a number of major expansion projects and huge facilities under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for making it easier for more pilgrims to have the the opportunity to perform the Hajj - one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

We urge all Hajis to cooperate with authorities in this difficult time and if anyone needs further information please contact the Saudi Ministry of Health on the following number 00966112125552 extension 937.
