SUPPORT SYRIA SAFELY 10 July 2014 As David Cameron said, the Muslims are the most charitable people. We always find ways to help our fellow Muslims and Non Muslims in time of need. We must continue to do so. However in the light of money laundering episodes, fraudulent diversion of charitable funds to criminal activities, it is of the utmost importance that donors know where their charitable donations are ending up. The Charity Commission has issued guidance on the steps to be taken to make sure that your donations are channelled to the right destination. It is advisable that everyone follow the guidance notes to safely sending money to Syria this Ramadhan and after. I strongly advise everyone to adhere to the rules and regulations of the Charity Commissions so that we can all give safely now and in the future.
