We Stand Together Campaign Launched from The London Central Mosque
March 2015

A campaign has launched urging communities in London to unite following the recent terror attacks in Europe.

An event at the London Central Mosque, saw faith leaders and Metropolitan Police officers unveil the We Stand Together campaign.

It follows increased concern in the capital sparked by the terrorist attacks in Paris, Belgium and Copenhagen.

The campaign is urging people to sign a pledge of solidarity, in a move to celebrate diversity and drive out forms of hatred.

Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan - Director General of The London Central Mosque Trust, said: "Let us be united and reject the incitement of hatred being spread among people. We stand united in preserving our heritage, our civilization in our united declaration that life is sacred irrespective of creed, faith, race or colour of skin."
