Qurbani is far more than a ritual sacrifice performed once a year - it is a sacred act of remembrance, devotion, and surrender to the will of Allah. It carries within it the timeless legacy of Prophet Ibrahim, whose unwavering faith led him to place obedience to Allah above all worldly attachments, even that which was most beloved to him. In return, Allah enveloped him in mercy, replacing sacrifice with divine compassion and honouring his sincerity for all generations to come.

Every animal sacrificed becomes a symbol of something greater: the sacrifice of pride, ego, greed, and attachment to worldly desires. It is an opportunity to purify the soul, to remember the blessings bestowed by Allah, and to extend mercy and provision to others, especially the poor and needy. In sharing the meat, families and communities are united in compassion, generosity, and remembrance of Allah's endless favours.

Thus, Qurbani stands as a living testimony of faith - a reminder that when a servant turns to Allah with complete trust and obedience, divine mercy always follows.
