The Chair of The Charity Commission Baroness Tina Stowell and Nick Donaldson - Head of Faith visited the Islamic Cultural Centre and The London Central Mosque.

The Diretor General Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan and colleagues welcomed the special guests and spoke about building stronger relations and the possbilities of working togeter in future.

The Director General of the Islamic Cultural Centre, Dr Ahmad Al-Dubayan warmly welcomed Baroness Tina Stowell and Mr. Donaldson, Head of Faith Charities to The Islamic Cultural Centre specifying the role of the ICC as a Cultural Centre is open to the whole of society and delivers many community projects.

A presentation by Dr Dubayan was given on the various and multifaceted role that which the ICC plays in the local and wider communities. Some of the work presented included various projects including welfare work, education, health, interfaith and social work to name a few.

The Baroness said that it was a pleasure to visit the Centre and said The London Central Mosque is an important Charity and plays a positive role in the Community.

At the end of the meeting the visitors were accompanied by Dr Ahmad, Mr Muttur, and Mr Zuberi on a tour of the Centre. Baroness Tina Stowell, and Mr Nick Donaldson both expressed their thanks to the Centre, for a fruitful, and enjoyable visit.
