The Islamic Cultural Centre in partnership with the Association of Josour organized an evening for the Moroccan community of UK to meet Minister Aziz Rabah, Moroccan Minister of Energy and Minerals on Saturday, 3rd March 2018.

The meeting began with a speech by the Director of the Islamic Cultural Centre Dr. Ahmad Al-Dubayan, in which he explained the important cultural and scientific role of Morocco and its continuous efforts in preserving Islamic identity and heritage and defending the principles of the Islamic nation.

Minister Rabah gave a talk entitled "Democratic Transformation and Development in Morocco", during which he spoke about the democratic and economic development in Morocco. He stressed that the role of the community comes through the integration and impact in the West and the composition of the cultural and economic balance of Morocco. The lecture was followed by a great discussion between the Minister and audience. More than one hundred people attended the meeting.

Minister Rabah thanked the Islamic Cultural Centre for organising the event and praised Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan for his role in the service of education and community issues.
