25th teacher training for the supplementary Arabic schools in London
The London Central Mosque in partnership with the International Organisation for Development has organised the 25th teacher training for the supplementary Arabic schools in London under the title:
The role of mind maps in teaching Arabic language skills to non-native speakers
The event took place on Saturday 4th January 2020 from 9am to 4.30pm
96 teachers from different Supplementary Arabic schools benefited from the following topics:
- The role of mind maps in teaching Arabic, Islamic education, and the Noble Qur'an for non-Arabic speakers.
- A practical lesson in language skills teaching, based on active learning strategy and language assignments.
- Class management problems: group discussion and solution research
- Teachers proficiency test.
The course was moderated by the international expert Dr. Mohamed Mutlaq, head of the 'Lamsa' Educational Centre in Denmark.
Certificates of completion have been given to the attendees at the end of the session by Dr Ahmad The director general of The ICC After a short speech in which he thanked Dr. Ahmad Bahammam the director of the International Organisation for Development for their participation in organizing this course, and during which he encouraged the attendees to continue to pay attention to these trainings to raise their efficiency and develop their teaching skills.
