Professor Amal Bint Jamil Fatani - Cultural Attache of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visits London Central Mosque and The Islamic Cultural Centre

Prof Amal Bint Jamil Fatani - Cultural Attache of KSA visited The Islamic Cultural Centre and London Central Mosque on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
Prof Fatani was accompanied on this visit by Dr. Madallah Al-Anzi and Dr. Faisal Al-Sharif, directors of each of the departments of Communication, Public Relations and Information, and Cultural and Social Affairs of the Cultural Attache, respectively. The delegation was received by the Director General of the Islamic Cultural Center, Dr. Ahmed Al-Dubiyan.
The visit included a tour to introduce the delegation to the Islamic Cultural Center, its facilities and the services it provides, then Dr. Ahmed Al Dubiyan met with the delegation of the Cultural Attache and made a historical presentation about the centre, how it was established, its objectives, and its current programmes and activities during the lockdown such as the food programme and online education courses.
In the meeting, ways and areas of cooperation between the Islamic Cultural Centre and the Cultural Attache were discussed, and Dr Ahmad Al Dubiyan expressed the Centre's readiness to cooperate with the Cultural Attache in promoting positive engagement through cultural and religious activies.
The delegation discussed with the director of the Centre how to develop cultural and volunteer programs and empower the youth on scholarships and provide them with the necessary support to enhance their contributions in representing their country as ambassadors in British society and among Arab and Islamic communities in the United Kingdom.
At the end of the meeting, Dr Dubayan thanked Dr Fatani and the delegation for visiting the Centre and looked forward to collaborating in the future.
