ICC's Revert Muslim Sisters Network

If you are new to Islam, wishing to refresh your knowledge or just interested to learn more about Islam in general then you are most welcome to attend this event. Guest Speakers, Q&A's and Social Networking.

With Guest speaker Zara Mohammed, the first female elected Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, an organisation which represents over 500 Mosques in the United Kingdom.

  • Zara Mohammed graduated with an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Strathclyde.
  • She was elected as the youngest and first female Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain in 2021.
  • Zara was elected the first female President of the Federation of Student Islamic Societies (FOSIS) in 2016.
  • Zara has contributed to a number of public consultations including: Muslim women and employment and Islamophobia
  • She is passionate about empowering young people and supporting women.
