Volunteering at The London Central Mosque Trust
Get Involved
The Islamic Cultural Centre London is grateful to its volunteers who dedicate their precious time and energy in serving our community. Our volunteers are from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills, expertise and experience that help enhance the services and activities we deliver at The London Central Mosque. We value their contribution and in particular the commitment, dedication and hard work they demonstrate in their roles.
We are now also looking for volunteers to help with the reopeining of Mosques during the corona virus pandemic
We are also looking to build a new Media team of volunteers and are looking for people interested in graphic design, multi media skills including video production and photography.
Volunteering is a great form of sadaqah. It is hugely beneficial both to the muslim community and wider British society we seek to serve through the centre. Not only this, but there is great reward in volunteering at a mosque as the ultimate reason is to please Allah. This is especially true during the holy month of Ramadan when the reward for every good deed is multiplied. There are benefits also for volunteers in terms of skills development, CV building and new experiences.
