For the past ten consecutive years, we have been using "Al-Amal" textbooks as the main resource for the Arabic syllabus for all classes (from Reception to Year 6).
Al-Amal textbooks cover both topics: Arabic language and Islamic studies, one book for each topic.
The textbooks are developed by Granada Edition organisation and are endorsed by many prominent Arabic schools in Europe.
Moreover, we offer a class for beginners, this class is for students of different ages who aren't on the right level to fit into classes of their age.
We use a deferent text book for this class that better suits students' needs.
Our class activity range is always expanding and the school is making good use of the classroom assistants' support. We find that our pupils are engaged with the topics.
The vocabulary set in the books is believed to be very progressive and relevant to the students' daily lives.
For GCSE, we are following the Edexcel examination board's specification for the 9 to 1 GCSE syllabus. We use the board's resources including the recommended practice papers for GCSE examination, and their audio files. We are also using some first-hand advanced teaching materials prepared by the class teachers.
We're also thrilled to offer A-level classes upon request.
The multimedia resources that the teachers have been developing are also available for all staff members to share and select suitable materials for their students according to age range and aptitude. As part of continuous assessment, students are constantly assigned tasks in order to assess their progress.
