ICESCO in partnership with The State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associatins of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a Conference in Rabaat, Morocco on: "Interfaith Harmony: Nurturing Peaceful Coexistence"
Dr Ahmad Al Dubayan, Director General of London Central Mosque & Islamic Cultural Centre presented a paper in Session 1 of the Conference, titled: Interreligious Harmony as a Basic Element of Sustainable Development.
Relevance of the Topic In today's world, we are facing numerous instances of conflict, intolerance, and discord. Many of these issues stem from religious or cultural misunderstandings. The need to promote interfaith peace, mutual respect, and coexistence in a global environment has never been more relevant than it is now. The increase in global tensions and cases of religious intolerance makes international dialogue, which promotes interfaith harmony, understanding, and peaceful coexistence, essential.
